Regulatory audits
Work carried out by or on behalf of a Regulatory Agency. The Regulatory Agency can either be a government ministry or agency, or an independent organisation appointed by the government ministry or agency. The work involves a face-to-face meeting, variously called an audit, an inspection or an investigation. Audits last from a minimum of one day to weeks long, dependent on the type of audit, the size of the manufacturer being audited, the type of product and the number of products.
